During the week of November 3–7, 2025, our group had the honor of hosting Prof. Karin M. Rabe, a distinguished theoretical physicist from Rutgers University (USA), internationally recognized for her pioneering contributions to the theory and design of functional materials using first-principles methods.
Her visit took place within the framework of the 60th Anniversary Congress of the Faculty of Sciences, where she engaged with faculty members, postdoctoral researchers, and graduate students from our group. The visit fostered a stimulating exchange of ideas on topics related to altermagnetism, superconductors and computational materials discovery.
